The donation station at St George’s Shopping Centre has reopened this month to begin their next community collection, this time supporting Cats Protection Harrow Homing Centre. The donation station can be found on the ground floor of the shopping centre and is calling for donations of cat food, treats, cat litter, beds, toys and blankets for all the feline residents at Harrow Homing Centre.
Since its launch, the donation station at St George’s Shopping Centre has already collected toys for the local children’s ward, warm clothing for Harrow charity FirmFoundation, plus food and hygiene items for food banks such as London Community Kitchen.
Cats Protection is the largest feline welfare charity in the UK and the Harrow Homing Centre houses around 20 cats and kittens who are looking for new homes. In an average year, the London-based Cats Protection centres will rehome over 750 cats, as well as providing rehoming and neutering assistance, and advice to cat owners and cat lovers. Their vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness.
The donation station collection will remain open until Sunday 30th April 2023. A new collection will be launched soon after.
