Councillors have given their unanimous backing to develop a small underused corner of Greenhill Way car park. Over the next few months the site will begin its transformation into a thriving hub supporting business start-ups and creatives in need of affordable workspace.

The plans, approved at a recent meeting of the council’s Planning Committee, will offer retail units and workspace for rent, community facilities, event space and a micro gallery. The hub will be in place initially for five years, but this could be extended if the venture is successful.
